Every mile counts in the fight to stop human trafficking.
United Abolitionists is proud to support Gustavo Costa, an advocate, athlete, and changemaker, who will be cycling 1,000 miles from California to Colorado in June 2026. His ride will raise awareness and funds to help end modern-day slavery.
This campaign, titled Riding for Awareness, shows how sport can be a powerful force for activism and support for survivors.
Human trafficking is a $236 billion criminal enterprise, second only to drug trafficking. Florida is ranked third in the world for reported cases. Gustavo’s effort brings national attention to this ongoing crisis while offering practical support to those on the frontlines.
Funds raised through this initiative will directly support United Abolitionists’ mission to rescue victims, educate communities, and coordinate care for survivors.
You can be part of this journey to stop human trafficking by supporting the mission behind the miles. Every contribution fuels our efforts to raise awareness, rescue victims, and empower survivors. Whether you share this story with others or make a donation, your support helps push our movement forward.
