Greetings, Abolitionists,
July has been an extraordinary month for United Abolitionists, marked by remarkable progress in our mission to combat human trafficking. Through strategic partnerships, vital community outreach, and impactful meetings, we continue to advance our cause and expand our impact.
Here’s a look at what we accomplished this month.
UA President is the lead Advisor mapping out the state of Florida to identify all governmental & non-governmental agencies/organizations whose mission is to combat human trafficking in all its forms.
Called, ‘Raising the Standard’: Retreat for Safe House Leaders, Survivors & Advocates.
With the University of Central Florida’s Center for the Study of Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery
United Abolitionists Victim Advocates were on scene. Three victims were identified.
Partnership discussion
Updates on current projects & upcoming developments.
Interview including the history of victim advocacy and recovery operations with United Abolitionists President & the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.
UA President is a founding member of SAFE & serves on the Advisory Council.
UA President was invited as a guest of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce
UA President presented via Zoom to the members of the International Rotary.
UA President along with the Florida Department of Children & Families recorded their session for the Annual Summit sharing on the journey & process of creating the nation’s first adult housing standards & certification.
Hosted by the University of Central Florida’s Center for the Study of Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery.
UA President led & facilitated a training for Court personnel along with the Honorable Florida Senior Judge Wilfredo Martinez, Survivor Leader Dr. Marianne Thomas, RET Sgt. Alan Wilkett, Victim Advocate Maegan Heller & Florida Department of Children & Families Child Welfare Georgia Steele.
Annual worldwide recognition of the scourge of human trafficking.

Unifying statewide efforts including facilitating a Rescue Hope Backpack Drive.
Discussion with Florida’s Panhandle MoMENtum organization to create a strategic joint plan for tackling the demand for human trafficking in Florida and beyond.
Planning the anti-human trafficking legislation for the 2025 session.
The New Orlando International Airport Human Trafficking Victims ‘Soft Office’ – Opening date to be determined.
