Dear Abolitionist Partner,
It’s hard to believe that we are already in the month of May. Here is our 2025 Trimester Impact Report, we extend our deepest gratitude for your steadfast partnership in the fight against human trafficking. United Abolitionists, Inc. remains committed to dismantling exploitation through collaborative action, relentless advocacy, training, and survivor-centered support.
This report reflects the real outcomes your support has made possible—rescued lives, empowered survivors, increased public education and awareness, and strengthened community response networks.
Together, we are not just responding to injustice—we are dismantling the systems that allow it to persist. Thank you for your continued commitment to stop human trafficking!
January marked a powerful kickoff to 2025, aligning with National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. United Abolitionists led and participated in a wide array of impactful initiatives—including national conferences, strategic planning with local and state agencies, and community awareness events like the Red Sand Project.
UA also began development on the Training & Learning Center and coordinated high-profile partnerships with legal firms, rotary clubs, and government stakeholders.
Two major events—the 17th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Conference and the 15th Annual Polaris Star Awards—underscored UA’s leadership and public engagement efforts.
February focused heavily on building infrastructure, expanding advocacy, and forming new coalitions. UA conducted weekly victim services meetings, hosted critical development sessions, and continued its legislative advocacy work with government partners.
Key collaborations emerged with organizations like Nemours Children’s Hospital, USF’s BRIGHT Project, and multiple legal and healthcare entities.
UA also facilitated trainings and helped coordinate a law enforcement sting operation, demonstrating its integral role as a first responder and bridge-builder in Florida’s anti-trafficking network.
March emphasized education, legislative alignment, and strategic outreach across sectors. UA engaged in advisory board sessions, judiciary collaborations, and public presentations to strengthen both its grassroots and policy influence.
Notable moments included participation in the Safe House Project Annual Conference, the expansion of corporate training opportunities in hospitality, and strategic talks with Frontier Airlines and hotel groups.
Through a mix of public speaking, survivor engagement, and program development, UA pushed forward its mission with precision and purpose.
April delivered momentum across UA’s operational and advocacy fronts. UA advanced the launch of its LMS Training Center, supported survivors with direct services, and helped shape future programming in collaboration with local colleges, DHS, and legislative partners. The team also made impactful community connections through presentations, workshops, and coalition events.
Strategic planning was done for both the 2026 Pankration World Championship and the JUST Conference, solidifying UA’s position at the intersection of cultural engagement and trafficking prevention. UA also supported another successful sting operation, demonstrating continued field impact.
